What is the woman’s Room?

The Woman’s Room is a support group specifically designed for women. It provides a compassionate, inclusive, and empowering space where women can explore, address, and heal from their mental health challenges. We are dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing environment that promotes connection, empathy, and personal growth.

In our support groups, women can share their stories, receive meaningful emotional support, and access resources that encourage mental wellness, self-care, and holistic healing. We believe in the transformative power of community and the strength that comes from shared experiences.

Our mission is to empower every woman to take ownership of her mental health journey, build resilience, and embrace her unique path toward healing. By offering a platform for understanding, education, and mutual support, The Woman’s Room aims to inspire women to not only survive but, thrive in their pursuit of emotional well-being and personal strength.

About
the founder

In 2023, AnaVictoria Miranda founded The Woman's Room, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women navigate and overcome mental health challenges. As a registered dental hygienist, passionate advocate for women’s mental health, and firm believer in the power of community, AnaVictoria's mission is driven by her own personal healing journey, which began in 2018. Since then, she has learned just how crucial the support of others—especially other women—can be in fostering growth and recovery. Through connection, shared experiences, and embracing vulnerability, AnaVictoria found the strength to heal, and it is this same sense of belonging and support that she is committed to bringing to every woman who walks through our doors.

As a mental health advocate, AnaVictoria believes that mental health is a vital pillar of overall well-being, and that every woman deserves access to the resources, support, and safe spaces she needs to heal and grow. At The Woman's Room, we are dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health issues, advocating for comprehensive care, and providing a compassionate community where women can come together, share their journeys, and heal with dignity and respect.

We understand that mental health challenges do not define who we are—they are part of a larger story of strength, transformation, and empowerment. That’s why we offer not just services, but a safe space where women can reconnect with their inner power. Through advocacy, education, counseling services, peer support groups, and wellness programs, we empower women to reclaim their mental health, embrace their unique journeys, and rediscover their strength.

We collaborate with mental health professionals, local communities, and dedicated partners to create a world where every woman has the tools and support she needs to thrive—mind, body, and soul. The Woman's Room is more than just a resource for mental health care—it is a movement toward compassion, understanding, and collective empowerment.
